The Ragnaud-Sabourin Family owns one of the most prestigious private estates in the Grande Champagne. The estate was established in 1850 and consists of 50 hectares of vines. The company is currently managed by third and forth generations of the founding family and the continuity of style has been guaranteed by employing the same family as cellarmasters during this period.
The estate cultivates Ugni-Blanc and Folle Blanche varietals with all distillation and maturation of the spirit taken place on the estate.
The house style has developed to produce cognacs with weight, elegance and all the hallmarks and finesse expected of the Grande Champagne Cru.
This cognac is named after a particular vineyard on the estate which has always produced the finest flavoured cognac which developes the true rancio of great Grande Champagne Cognac at about 35 years of age.
